I'm lye hatten, a student at swarthmore college
studying computer science. due to the
covid-19 crisis I decided to take a leave of
absence from swarthmore and spend some time
working on myself and my skills.
I stumbled into a software engineering position at
a company that has now been aquired by ADT.
I made the decision to go back to school and switched from
film and media studies to computer science.
I am having a lot of fun broadening my skills and
building a basic foundation of computer science that I
was lacking as someone who was largely self-taught.
im looking forward to where my career may take me next
now that I have an understanding and appreciation for
technology that I would have never cultivated without
taking a leap of faith by deciding to finish my
bachelors after a 5 year break.
